Pat the Baker, Bread Lottery, Terms and Conditions


The Pat the Baker (The Promoter), Bread Lottery, (The Competition) will run on a monthly basis. Each prize draw will occur once each calendar month for the duration of The Competition.

By entering The Competition entrants will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.

Entrants must collect seven tokens from the following Pat the Baker products, Pat’s Pan, Multigrain, 100% Wholemeal and Brown. Each of the aforesaid products will contain a token on the cardboard end which replaces the heal on one end of a half pan.

Tokens have no cash value and are non-transferable.

Only original, authentic printed tokens from products of The Promoter will be accepted.
Copied tokens will not be accepted. The Promoter will not accept any claim that includes non-promotional tokens, tokens that are defaced, tampered with in any way, or from any source other than retail purchase.

All entries should include an entrants name, address, contact telephone number and email address where possible, along with 7 valid tokens and should be posted to Pat the Baker, Granard, Co. Longford.

Entries must be strictly in accordance with these terms and conditions. Any entry not in strict accordance with these terms and conditions will be deemed to be invalid and no prizes will be awarded in respect of any such entry.

The Competition is open to all residents of the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland, excluding employees of The Promoter, their families, their agents or anyone professionally associated with The Competition. Any person under the age of 16 must not enter without parental consent.
Only one prize per winning entrant.

The winning entry will be chosen at random from valid and completed entries received during and by the last calendar date of each calendar month. Any entries received thereafter will be included in the following months prize draw.

Each monthly instance of The Competition will involve a new prize draw from entries received only in that calendar month.

The Promoter’s decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
There will be one cash prize each month of €5,000.00.

Use of a false name or address by a competition entrant will disqualify them from receiving any prize.
The Promoter shall endeavour to deliver all prizes within 28 days of winning. Where this is not possible the winner will be notified of any delay.

Prizes not claimed within 90 days will be deemed to have been forfeited and The Promoter may dispose of such prizes without any liability to the winner.

The prize is non-transferable and no other alternative shall exist.

The prize is as stated in these terms and conditions. However, The Promoter reserves the right at its sole discretion to alter the prize or substitute the prize with an alternative to the same value for any reason and without notification.

In the event that the winner declines the prize awarded to him/her. The Promoter may award the prize to another entrant, selected at random.

By accepting the prize, the winner grants The Promoter the right to use and publish his/her name and picture in such media as The Promoter may choose for advertising and promotional purposes without additional consideration. The Promoter may also publish and/or disclose the results of the competition including the winner's name and details of entry.

In addition winners may be requested to take part in publicity arising from The Competition.
The Promoter reserves the right to suspend or terminate the competition or amend these terms and conditions at any time for any valid technical or commercial reason.

Pat the Baker will not be liable for any damage, claim or costs however incurred, arising from The Competition.

The Promoter of this Competition is Pat the Baker, Granard, Co. Longford.
